All about concrete sealers for brick homes

Many older buildings today are of brick and mortar construction. This creates a sturdy, solid building that just won’t fall over no matter how hard the winds blow. The downside to brick construction is that it is rather susceptible to corrosion by the elements.

This can be protected against though with a product called a brick sealant. Brick sealers form a tight bond against the outer surface and protect it against corrosion and often even other things like graffiti, or deep discoloration.

The sealer does this but literally sealing the brick and mortar away from the elements with a thin, transparent coat of a chemical (which reacts something like paint, but not quite) keeping the harmful wet air, wind, and water away from the surface and keeps them from penetrating into the material it’s self.
